No Baby Yet

I'm 10 days from my due date and we still don't have a name. It seems all our names aren't very popular with our folks/friends. And the names we sort of liked have already been coupled with our last name by, more famous, others (thank you very much Steve, Astin and Lockheed Martin).

So please, be prepared to pretend to like whatever name we choose and when you have your baby we'll keep our comments to ourselves. Unless you name your kid "Rainy," which I think is a terrible name for a baby in Seattle. I met one at a birthday party recently. (She's only a month old, and as far as I know is not reading yet, so I'm not worried about her seeing this and taking offense.)

And for those of you following the progress on our basement, it is almost finished. We ordered wool carpet today and it should be installed on Wednesday, just in time for Grandpa Lala's visit.

And, speaking of Grandpa Lala, I hope he's also not reading this because he's an early candidate for April's Craziest Person of the Month for trying to convince Clay that "you just can't go too big" with a TV. He's trying to talk Clay into purchasing a 100 foot television (see above), which would be great if we, or our kids, actually watched television.

Please post comments with desperately needed suggestions for baby names and appropriate screen sizes. I'm going to bed!

Need to know before I can contemplate: Are you sticking with "G" names? It's a whole big field of names out there and I need some parameters. Girl or boy names???? What about a recent preggers photo of you on the blog?

OK Robin, what happened to your FACT CHECKER? I destinctly recall saying that a 50 ft. TV would probably be sufficient!
As for your 'crazy person' for the month, Audree said, "Why just April?" Jacob, Owen, Sally, Sue or Sam... Anything other than the "M" name Clay keeps suggesting.
Dad (aka Grandpa Lala)

The child in my belly is a boy so a boy name seems appropriate. And, it shouldn't start with the letter G. Sally or Sue are not in our top 50,000 names.
Lastly, Grandpa Lala is getting closer and closer to winning crazy person of the month.

I agree with Grandpa LaLa. about the "m" name.

Lev is adorable! Also Levi and Leo.

What's the "M" name? I like Levi, and Homer. And Plato. Clay and Play-doh, get it? Also like Ethan and Evan. Will. Joshua. Austin, not Astin. And, I know this starts with G - forgive me - Gregory.
As for screen size, how big do the volcano cakes on the Food Network need to appear?

I also would like to suggest Frank - it's the same genre as George.

Frank is really cute as well.
Clay likes Fred and Archie but I say no to both. My brother has a dog named Fred and his two cats are George and Archie.

I'd veto Archie for sure. Could handle Frank, but maybe that ought to be short for something.

Oh, Grandpa Lala wants to know if there is a prize for Crazy Person of the month?

Frank would be short for Frankenstein, of course!
And, Grandpa Lala may be eligible for the chance to win a dream vacation in Seattle. Accommodations would be in a brand new basement! All meals provided.

Tell Clay we'll have an M word baby for him if you'll swap it for a volcano cake you can post to London. Otherwise Oliver would be cute. x
